Website & Research Content Disclaimer
How to read content on the Ri18 Labs website and official channels, including research articles and their editorial standards, product and certificate information, and the limits on relying on it.
Effective
01Purpose and scope
This Website & Research Content Disclaimer is published by Thais Ventures LLC, a Florida limited liability company doing business as Ri18 Labs (“Ri18 Labs”, “we”, “us” or “our”). It explains what the content we publish is and is not, and the limits on relying on it, and it sets out the editorial standards our research articles follow. It takes effect on the date shown at the top of this page.
This disclaimer applies to all content on https://www.ri18labs.com and its pages (the “site”), including our research articles and the research hub that lists them, the catalog and product pages and their specifications, the COA Verification page and the certificates shown on it, the Quality Standards page, images, illustrations and diagrams, and the structured data and page descriptions the site provides to search engines and link previews. It applies to all of that content whether or not a particular page repeats or links to this disclaimer.
It also applies to our official channels: our Telegram and WhatsApp accounts, which are linked from the site, any other account that the site links to as ours, our contact form, and the emails and announcements we send. An account, page, group or channel that uses our name but is not linked from the site is not run by us, and we are not responsible for it.
Search engines, link previews and other services may show our structured data and other content in their own format, out of context or after it has changed, and we do not control how they display it. The current page on the site, and the details shown at checkout when you place an order, control.
This disclaimer forms part of our Terms & Conditions, which govern your use of the site, and should be read with the rest of them and with our Research-Use Policy. As the Terms & Conditions provide, if this disclaimer conflicts with the rest of them on its own subject, which is what site content is and how far you may rely on it, this disclaimer controls on that subject, and the rest of the Terms & Conditions control on everything else. Nothing in this disclaimer limits our Research-Use Policy, which controls on any question of research use, or the Limited warranty or Dispute resolution and binding arbitration sections of our Terms & Conditions.
Every material we sell is supplied strictly for in-vitro laboratory research. Our materials are not for human or veterinary use, they are not drugs, foods, dietary supplements, cosmetics, medical devices or household products, and nothing in our content is intended to suggest otherwise. If any content appears to suggest a use other than in-vitro laboratory research, treat it as an error, do not rely on it, and tell us at support@ri18labs.com so that we can correct it.
02Research articles
What they are. Our research articles, listed in the research hub at https://www.ri18labs.com/research, summarize published scientific literature for general research education and reference. Each article describes what investigators studied, in which experimental systems, what they measured and what remains uncertain, based on the publications it cites. Ri18 Labs prepares and publishes the articles. They are not peer-reviewed publications, and they are no substitute for reading the original work.
Kept apart from our shop. Articles are not product information, advertising or claims about any material we sell. No article refers to, pictures, prices or links to a product we sell, or says whether or what we sell. Apart from the site-wide header, footer, search and cart, which are the same on every page of the site, article pages contain no links to the catalog, product pages, the cart or checkout. Articles appear only in the research hub: they are not shown or excerpted on the catalog, product pages, the cart or checkout, individual articles are not listed in site search, and affiliate links cannot be set to open an article.
Not a statement about our materials. An article is about a compound or a method as a subject of published research, whether or not we supply that compound. It is not a statement that any material we sell is suitable for, intended for or effective in any use, and nothing in an article describes any material we sell.
No use information. Articles never describe or recommend any use of a compound in or on people or animals, any dose, route or method of administration, or any preparation for such use, and they never state or suggest any benefit in people or animals. Findings from cell culture and animal models often do not carry over to other systems, and an article's report of what a study measured is not a statement that a compound has that or any effect anywhere else.
Not advice. Articles are not medical, veterinary, legal or regulatory advice, and they are not instructions, protocols or recommendations for any use.
Dates and accuracy. Science changes, and articles may be incomplete, may contain errors and may not reflect research published after they were written. Each article shows the date it was published and should be read as reflecting the literature up to that date. If you need to know whether an article has been reviewed or updated since, contact support@ri18labs.com.
Citations and links. Each article lists the publications it draws on so that you can consult them. Citations, and any links to other websites, are provided for reference only and are not an endorsement of the cited work, its authors or publishers, or any website. The title of a cited work is reproduced as published and is in its authors' words, not ours.
Corrections. If you believe an article contains an error or does not meet the editorial standards in the next section, email support@ri18labs.com with the article's title, the correction you suggest and, where possible, a supporting source. We review every correction request, and we correct, update or withdraw an article where we agree that a change is needed.
03Editorial standards for research articles
We publish the standards our research articles follow so that readers can see how articles are prepared and hold us to them. Ri18 Labs undertakes to follow these standards for every article it publishes.
Faithful to the literature. An article reports only what the publications it cites report: what investigators studied, in which experimental system, what they measured, and where the evidence is limited, unreplicated or uncertain. It does not extend a finding beyond the system in which it was observed.
No use, dosing or benefit claims. An article never states or suggests that a compound is used, useful, safe or effective in or on people or animals, and it never gives a dose, route, schedule, method of administration or preparation for use. A finding from an animal model is reported only as what investigators measured in that model, never as an effect or benefit for people or animals.
No disease or treatment framing. A study's disease or injury model may be named as the model it used, but no article is framed around treating, preventing or curing any disease or condition. Titles and summaries name the compound or method an article is about, never a disease, an injury or a therapy.
No regulatory arguments. An article never presents an approval, a clinical program, or a regulatory or compounding decision as a reason that a compound is suitable for use in people or animals.
Separate from the shop. Articles refer to compounds by the names used in the published literature, never by a trade or blend name under which we list a material. They never contain a product image, a price, an offer, a discount, a link to a product or to the shop, a reference to our lots or certificates, or any call to buy, and they never say whether or what Ri18 Labs sells.
Citations as published. Every article lists its sources in full, with each title exactly as its authors and publisher gave it, so that readers can check them.
Checked before publication and at every update. Every article is checked against these standards before it is published and again whenever it is changed. An article that does not meet them is corrected or withdrawn.

04Product and specification information
Identity information. Each product page identifies a material by its common name and full chemical name and, where they apply, its amino-acid sequence or composition, CAS number, molecular formula and molecular weight. This information comes from published reference sources, such as the identity source shown on the page, or is calculated from the molecular formula. It identifies the compound in general and is not a test result for any lot.
Not a specification or a claim. Identity and other technical information on a product page is given for identification and research reference only. It is not a specification for any particular lot, and it is not a claim, guarantee or warranty that a material will produce any result or is suitable for any purpose. What we warrant about a material is set out only in the Limited warranty section of our Terms & Conditions, which covers the material's identity as stated on its label and, where we publish a certificate of analysis for its lot, its conformity to the specifications reported on that certificate, on the conditions stated there. The label and certificate for your lot control over any general description. A detail shown as to be confirmed has not been confirmed and should not be relied on. If what you receive does not match your order, our Returns & Refunds explains what to do.
Storage and handling. Store and handle every material as directed on its label and on the Safety Data Sheet supplied with your order. If storage or handling information on the site differs from them, follow the label and Safety Data Sheet.
Research profile notes. Short notes on a product page about a compound's structure, origin, composition or research context summarize published information about the compound. They are not statements about what any material we sell will do, they are not claims that a material is suitable for any purpose, and they are not instructions or recommendations for any use.
Images. Product photographs, vial and label artwork, diagrams and other images are illustrative. The container, cap, label layout, colors and packaging you receive may differ, and the label and certificate for your lot control over any image.
Listings and availability. A product page may be published before a material can be ordered, or while the certificate for its current lot is being prepared, and the page says so when that is the case. A product page is not an offer to sell to any particular person. Listings, prices and availability may change at any time, and orders are governed by our Terms & Conditions.

05Certificates and the COA Verification page
The COA Verification page lets you look up, by the lot number printed on your label, the certificate of analysis for a lot we have released and, where we hold it, download the laboratory's original document. The same certificate information can be retrieved by lot number in machine-readable form through the lookup described on that page, and everything in this section applies to it.
One lot only. Each certificate is bound to a single lot number in our records. It reports the results of testing performed by the issuing laboratory on that lot, as that laboratory reported them, and it applies only to the lot it names. It does not describe any other lot or the material in general. If no certificate is found for your lot, or the lot number on your label differs from the certificate shown, do not rely on that certificate; keep the vial sealed and contact support@ri18labs.com.
Shown as the laboratory reported it. The laboratory's name, accreditation, test dates, methods, specifications and results are shown as stated in the laboratory's original document. If anything shown on the page differs from that document, the laboratory's original document controls. Please tell us at support@ri18labs.com so that we can correct the page.
Document fingerprint. Each original document we hold is stored with its SHA-256 fingerprint, which is shown beneath the certificate. You can calculate the SHA-256 fingerprint of a file you download and compare it with the one shown to check that your file is identical to the copy we hold. A matching fingerprint confirms only that the two files are identical. It does not by itself confirm the laboratory's results or that the material you hold conforms to them.
Demonstration specimen. Where the page offers a demonstration specimen, it shows only how a certificate is laid out. It contains no analytical data, and no laboratory has tested any material for it.
Limits. As the Certificates of analysis and product information section of our Terms & Conditions explains, a certificate is not a guarantee of any result beyond what it reports for its lot. It is not a statement that a material is safe or suitable for any purpose, or that any use is lawful. Apart from the limited warranty in our Terms & Conditions, we give no warranty about certificates or their contents. If you believe a material does not conform to its certificate, follow the lot or documentation nonconformity process in our Returns & Refunds.

06The Quality Standards page
Our Quality Standards page describes the standards we apply, or are preparing to apply, to the identity, traceability, testing, review and handling of our materials, and it shows the current status of each standard beside it.
What each status means. A standard is shown as in place only when its procedure is documented and operating for every lot it applies to, and we record the evidence for that before we mark it in place. A standard shown as in preparation is still being built and tested, and a standard shown as planned is defined as a requirement but is not yet operating. Do not rely on a standard that is not shown as in place as if it were operating. We change a standard's status when the way it actually operates changes, so that the status shown reflects actual operation.
Not a warranty. The Quality Standards page explains our approach. It is not a warranty, a specification or a promise about any particular material or lot, and we may change our standards at any time. The warranty we give for materials is the limited warranty in our Terms & Conditions.

07Technical questions and answers
Questions we can help with. You may ask us about the information on a product page, a label, a Safety Data Sheet, a certificate or a lot, about storage and handling conditions, or about analytical methods. You can ask through the contact form, by email to support@ri18labs.com, or through our Telegram and WhatsApp accounts.
Answers are a courtesy. Any answer we give is free of charge and is general technical information based on what we know at the time. It is not a specification, a warranty, an instruction or a recommendation for any use, and it does not change the label, Safety Data Sheet or certificate for your lot or our Terms & Conditions. Check any answer independently, including against the Safety Data Sheet, the certificate for your lot and the published literature, before you rely on it.
Questions we never answer. We do not answer questions, through any channel, about using any material in or on people or animals, including questions about dosing, administration, preparation or reconstitution for such use, or effects in people or animals. We may end any conversation that seeks that information, and, as our Terms & Conditions and Research-Use Policy explain, such a request may lead us to refuse or cancel orders or to close an account.
Messaging channels. Our Telegram account, @Ri18Labs, and our WhatsApp account, both reached through the Telegram and WhatsApp links on the site, are for questions and for requesting a material we might consider for a future listing. A request does not mean that we will list, source or supply any material. We do not take orders or payments through messaging, and orders are placed only through checkout on the site. Messages you send us are handled as our Privacy Policy describes.
08Reviews, testimonials and content by others
No reviews or testimonials. We do not publish, repost or share customer reviews, ratings or testimonials, on the site or in our official channels, and the site does not publish comments or other content from users.
Content by others. Content that others publish about Ri18 Labs or our materials, including on social media, forums, review sites, videos and other websites, is theirs, not ours, whether it comes from customers, affiliates or anyone else. We do not adopt, approve or endorse it, it does not speak for us, and it may be inaccurate or out of date. A statement by anyone else that suggests a material is for use in or on people or animals, gives a dose or claims a health or performance benefit is not made or approved by us, and it does not reflect how our materials may be used under our Terms & Conditions and Research-Use Policy.
Affiliates. Affiliates earn a commission on orders placed with their code or link, and our Affiliate Program Terms require them to disclose that relationship. Affiliates do not speak for Ri18 Labs and have no authority to make any statement on our behalf.
Reporting. If you see content that misrepresents us or our materials, or an account that claims to be us, please tell us at support@ri18labs.com.
Honest reviews are not restricted. You are free to share an honest review, opinion or assessment of Ri18 Labs, our service or our materials wherever you choose. We will never treat an honest review as a breach of our Terms & Conditions or our other policies, charge you a fee or impose a penalty because of one, or claim ownership of what you write, except that while you take part in our affiliate program, the rules our Affiliate Program Terms set for what affiliates publish about us, including reviews and testimonials, apply to you. Our decision not to publish reviews applies only to our own site and channels. Nothing in this paragraph limits our rights if we learn that a material has been used in breach of our Terms & Conditions or Research-Use Policy.
09Regulatory information
Where the site refers to the regulatory status of a compound, for example by stating that it has not been approved as a drug or medicine, the statement is general information, given to make clear that the material is not supplied as a drug or for any use in people or animals. It is never a statement that a compound is suitable for any use, and it is not legal or regulatory advice.
Regulatory statements may be incomplete, may not cover every jurisdiction and may become out of date as laws, regulations, guidance and agency positions change. The absence of a statement about a compound's status does not mean that it has any particular status. Nothing on the site means that a material may lawfully be bought, possessed or used by you, where you are or for your purpose. Deciding that is your responsibility, with your own legal and regulatory advice where needed.
“Research use only” is not a regulatory status. It is not an approval, license, registration or exemption, and it does not make any purchase, possession or use lawful. It describes the only purpose for which we supply materials and the only conditions on which we sell them, as our Research-Use Policy explains.

Other websites and names. Links to other websites, such as a laboratory's or a carrier's website, are provided for convenience. We do not control those websites, and a link is not an endorsement of them or their content. The names and marks of other companies, laboratories, databases and publications are used only to identify them or the source of information. They belong to their owners, and their use does not mean that any of them is affiliated with or endorses Ri18 Labs.
Quoting our research articles. You may quote short passages from our research articles, but not a whole article or a substantial part of one, for research, teaching or scholarly discussion, as long as you quote accurately and in context, credit Ri18 Labs as the source with the article's title and a link to it, and do not suggest that we endorse you or your work.
This permission does not cover advertising or the promotion of any product or business, including promotion by affiliates; use alongside a price, an offer, a discount or affiliate code or a link to buy any product; or use in connection with any suggestion of human or animal use. It also does not cover product pages, certificates, images or logos, or the works our articles cite, which belong to their authors and publishers. We may withdraw this permission from anyone who misuses it. All other use of site content is governed by the Intellectual property and site use section of our Terms & Conditions.
